Top 5 Matcha Place in KL 🇲🇾

1️⃣Niko Neko, Bangsar & Petaling Street

I believe everyone is familiar with this place as almost all cafes in KL use their matcha. They have a few options based on the intensity of matcha and I personally prefer Ren (RM16) which is strong in matcha flavour. They also have matcha desserts like burnt cheesecake, choux and roulade. Highly recommend this place especially for first timer to experience what does a good matcha taste like.

2️⃣BuTian, Kuchai Lama

BuTian's Triple Matcha Cake (RM17) is literally the BEST matcha cake in KL!! It's super rich, not sweet and has 3 different layers - smooth matcha mousse, thick matcha ganache, matcha cake base 🤤 They also have matcha cookies which are really good too!

3️⃣Matcha Hero Kyoto, Pavilion KL

Their Matcha Latte Float (RM14) is one of my favourite matcha drinks 💚 Matcha was rich and match well with the sweet matcha ice cream! They also have matcha powder available in store.

Daily 10am - 9pm

4️⃣Chabashira Tea Roastery, Taman Paramount

Always order their Matcha Parfait (RM24) whenever I'm there! Love the different layers and textures in it 😻 Also recommend their Matcha Yuzu Cheesecake (RM15)! Personally think their Matcha Latte and Zenzai were just average.

5️⃣The Tokyo Restaurant, Lot10

Trust me they have the best burnt cheesecake in KL and they have it in both original and matcha flavour 💚 It's creamy, rich in matcha flavour and at the same time not jelak! Vibes there is also 💯 so would totally recommend this place.
