Traditional Desserts in Bugis 🤩

I mean, at some point we’ll crave for asian dessert instead of the always gelato and waffles, right?! Yes some can be heavy, but the ones i pick will always be refreshing!

🧐 My Thoughts:

Basically every time when i’m in Bugis, i would find excuses to go Ah Chew Dessert… I LOVE mangoes and pomelo and this traditional dessert definitely is my absolute fav. With cut pieces of mangoes, mango juice, coconut milk, sago balls and top off with pomelo… giving a bow to the person that invented this beautiful sweet treat. I mean, there are other dessert places that sells the same thing, but the taste though, i feel like Ah Chews perfected the ratio! The fact that the price are on an ok range, and widely popular with the locals, just beware of long queues… but usually people don’t stay for long, just munch and go! Best if you go in pairs, faster and easier! They do have a few outlets, but i’ve only been to the one at Bugis!
