OVERRATED RAMEN THAT DESERVES TO BE OVERRATED😤

konichiwa chihuahua🐶 ICHIRAN. the BEST ramen i had in my 22years life😵 salivating while editing this post btw🤤 SLURPS.

the outlet we went:

🕙 10am-6am (not typo horh 20 working hours!)

the only restaurant i insisted on visiting when in japan, the rest rlly just free & easy vibes~ and i THANK myself for insisting on this🫡 #selflove LOL.

when we arrived there was alrdy a long queue and idk why i need to say this bc ANYTIME you go it’s long queue (mayb shorter in the midnights bahs) but anyways, we queued close to 1.5hours for it.😨 NANIIIIIII.

the entire experience was honestly quite fascinating, it somehow feels like a theme park ride more than a restaurant😆 they had it separated into 3 sections - order&pay, waiting area and dining area! all guided so a bit like a tour LOL🤣

the ordering is quite self explanatory with their choices of languages, no need to panic👍🏼

i got the ichiran 5options one which included extra sides, but id recommend ichiran 3options instead that has extra noodles!!!🍜 the soup base is rlly SOLID the broth is SIBEI FLAVOURFUL and although there’s a layer of oil it still tastes so healthy and WASAI HOSEK🤌🏼 so get the noodles and finish up the soup😚

while waiting you’d be given this slip of paper which you can pick the broth thickness, richness, garlic, green onion, noodles softness and spice level! whatever you pick cfm still nice so vibe with it!😎

one thing to take note for spice lovers!!! order however spicy you want BUT taste the original soup first before mixing in your chilli🤩 enjoy the fragrance of the original broth😋

the main dining area is actlly pretty cramped. we were seated all the way down and had to brush pass multiple backs on one side and bags hung on the other. nearly dropped someone’s bag on the floor LOL😭 there’s complimentary ice water and you get to order extras with the little add on menus on the sides! all well thought out💭

needless to mention the ramen is 10/10. initially i a bit worried from a few less positive reviews online but WHAT TALKING YOU🤯 it’s honestly the BEST ramen i had. i LOVED it. till the point i bought so many instant ones back. DONT BUY THE INSTANT ONES HOR. the local restaurant one so good i thought the instant one could at least ride me back 6/10 i vomited blood when i tried it🤮 if you haven’t had ichiran in your life please just don’t pollute the idea of it being 10/10 with instants🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

that’s it! i highly recommend those in japan, taiwan, hong kong or usa to try ichiran! im not sure how they’d taste in other countries but definitely better than instant ichiran🤌🏼 im still regretting not going another time before i flew back now my tastebuds are hating me👅 ok bye need to go swallow my another 2BOXES of instant ichiran😭
