A day at Sunway Lagoon Malaysia

I didn’t expect to spend the entire Saturday at Sunway Lagoon . There were many activities to do and parks to explore.

I started the day at the wildlife exhibit. There were lions, snakes, monkeys and farm animals. For a fee, I fed the birds which was a scary experience. The birds immediately swarmed at me when they saw the packet of seeds I was holding.

‼️Please remember to bring mosquito repellent and apply before entering the wildlife area.

We walked the longest suspension bridge and had an aerial view of the waterpark.

‼️Prepare to walk back to the starting point for a short flight of stairs or take million steps down on the other side.

There were many dining options in the park from local to fast food. We had pizza and noodles to fill the stomach before splashing in the waterpark.

The waterpark is the main character here. There are plenty of different slides, water playgrounds and a man-made wave pool that we enjoyed. Lockers are available around the park. I rented the big locker for RM25 to fit our bags. I only brought my phone in a wet pouch and slippers. Before queuing for a slide ride, there will be a shelf to place your footwear, so don’t worry you do not need to hold your slippers. Queue wait time for most of the ride were less than 5min and its moving fast.

My kids did 1 amusement ride coz by then, they were drained. Furthermore, most kid friendly rides are those that go in circles. Thanks but I will get dizzy easily. The other rides are suitable for adults who want to scream their lungs out.

Our day ended at 6pm, thats when the waterpark closes. We didn’t go to the Scream and Night Park as that area was for their Halloween Horror Nights and tickets were sold separately in October.

Overall, it was a day well spent. My whole family really had fun and it was a thrill that I enjoyed.
