ios 16 wallpaper customisation hacks! ✨

ios16 gave us lots of room for customisation and one of my favs is the lockscreen widget feature (but not really for practical purposes hehe).

i discovered you can have little lockscreen gifs as pets and i really really find it so cute!!!

download the app lockwidget and find the pet you want. i chose a bunny and a cat hehe. you can have multiple as well!

then click on the gif and set widget. they will tell you it's saved so now head over to wallpaper customisation. click on the part that says 'add widget' and find lockwidget. you should see all your saved widgets there! eg 'cat'

then just click on it and add it in the dimension you want! there's even longer widget gifs that you can add and many other widgets on lockwidget as well that serve a practical purpose! like the weather etc. i just really love unlocking my phone and seeing my cute widget pets bopping on my lockscreen 🥰

other iphone customisation ideas are using widgets as dividers! this is not new to the ios16 but on the topic of widgets, what i love to do is separate my apps using widgets. as you can see, my video entertainment apps are grouped together and my banking and payment apps are grouped together and all separated by widgets!

i use the app color widget and just add a photo that i like. my phone doesn't really have a theme but yours definitely can with these customisation ideas 🥰

you can also find cute calenders on the same app to spice up your homescreen because i find the iphone calender widget v ugly hehe. my pink one is cuter!
