i never thought these photos were pretty. i thought i looked ugly.

last summer i was SO insecure about my body- i never photographed myself in a swimsuit until this day, and still only posted the first two photos. i thought my back looked so disgusting because it was flat and perfect, i thought my butt wasn’t big enough and i even thought that my hair didn’t look right in the wind.

the fact is, i spent more time either in a one piece or in a tank top and shorts at the lake than anything.

my body is my only body. so is yours. it’s the only body you’ll ever get, and i’ve been really trying to embrace that about myself. that being said, this summer i am forcing

myself to wear bikinis and to be happy with what i look like. this is the only body i will ever have and i really want to feel good in it. plus, bikinis are SO cute and i’m excited to feel good in a swimsuit for once:)
