We received a few queries on how much we spent for the renovation works, so we are here to share more! Constructing a service yard cost us $2203.32 in total, and here’s a breakdown of the costs:

💰 Fabrication and installation of floor-to-ceiling Shoji doors between kitchen and constructed service yard — $1200

💰 Extra light switch and electrical sockets within the service yard area — $120

💰 Additional ceiling light, which came in the form of LED light integrated with our Steigen automated laundry drying system, Solar Pro (quote ‘JEZGAYK0I6’ for $100 off!) — $883.32 promotional price

Although it may seem a little pricey, both of us agree that the money is totally well-spent because our service yard turned out exactly as we envisioned 😍

We do not have second thoughts about our decision to create a service yard, and would do it again in a heartbeat!
