DIY Life Sized Advent Calendar

This life sized advent calendar works perfectly for all ages, and if you don't want to fill it with anything, it's really pretty just as a holiday decoration on it's own!

I used sticky felt wall tiles, and pushpins to hold everything up. You can skip the felt tiles, and use 3M hooks instead. I found the gingerbread boxes on Amazon - a set of 24 for $20. It comes with four different sizes, which really adds interest to this. TIP: Once you construct your boxes, add a piece of tape to the underneath. This will help prevent sagging, and items from possible falling through.

To dress this up a bit more, I added garland, dried oranges, and fairy lights (the lights glowing through the oranges are so pretty!) all around it to create a magical little setting, and then I filled the boxes with Hershey kisses, stickers, and coins,

If you want to scale this back, it would also be cute for 12 days of Christmas!
