How we made our bathroom LUXE ✨

If you are looking to reno a Luxe theme bathroom, we’ve got some tips!

TILES:

✨ Our master bathroom has full marble patterned tiles, which gives an elegant look. If you saw our previous post, both our bathrooms actually use a similar main tile but the feature tiles are differentiated, which adds a unique element to each bathroom.

SINK / MIRROR:

Due to the lack of space in this small bathroom, we opted for an under mount sink to have at least some countertop space. ✨ For the mirror, we opted for a frameless oval mirror for a sleek look and to highlight the marble feature tile.

NICHE:

✨ I think my favourite part of this bathroom is the additional hollow block extension suggested by our ID, for a soap niche at the shower area and a symmetrical niche at the toilet side. On the shower side, it houses a concealed mixer and a wall hung toilet bowl to make it look more like a hotel toilet. Together with the gold sanitary fittings, it adds to the overall lux vibes of the toilet.

GLASS WINDOW WITH BLINDS:

One of the things the Missus wanted was to have a bathtub in the master bathroom and to our surprise, it could fit in our ID's proposal. We decided against it in the end, as the thought of climbing in and out everyday just seemed rather unpractical. ✨ However, we kept our ID's idea of a glass window with Venetian blinds, since we were already hacking the original wall to change the HDB sliding door, as it helps adds to the aesthetics and gives resemblance to a hotel bathroom.
