Getting your dog out of the house is a great way to train your dog and keep them from getting anxious when leaving the house!

We try to take our dogs somewhere whenever possible! The ideas listed above are just a few of the things you can do with your pet!

1. Going to a park - before going you need to make sure the park is pet friendly! Parks are great ways to train your pup! With all the new sites and smells, it’s a great way to train your dog to stay focused on you! And smelling is a great way to burn some energy for your dog!

2. Going to the beach - again make sure the beach is pet friendly and follow any rules posted regarding pets! The beach is a great way to burn off some energy and allow your pet a change of scenery

3. Going for a boat ride - a quick boat ride allows your dog to smell all new smells and experience life in a different way!

4. Taking a trip - planning a pet friendly trip is another great way to explore an unusual location and give your pup a change of scenery

5. Getting a pup cup from Starbucks - this is a quick and easy trip to get your pet out of the house for a little while! They get a treat and get to see new things and smells!
