Craving for grilled chicken?🍗 Tampines 1 eats ✨

SOS Chicken opened their first branch in Tampines 1 Mall. They were having a national day promotion till 11 August for only $5.90 for a 𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙛 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙖𝙪𝙘𝙚.

The chicken was so tender and juicy!! But the skin was not roasted till crisp and was a little oily and soggy. I picked off the skin and just ate the meat with the sauces.

We tried the 𝙂𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙎𝙤𝙮 𝙨𝙖𝙪𝙘𝙚, 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙮𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝘽𝙚𝙚𝙧, 𝘾𝙤𝙦 𝘼𝙪 𝙑𝙞𝙣, and 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢. I did not like the 🧄 soy as it just tasted like coriander 🥲 The best had to be the backyard beer sauce!! The chicken also came with a spring onion oil sauce and a minced chilli sauce that reminded me of chicken rice chilli. The chilli taste was sour and not too spicy, which paired well with the juicy chicken.

The 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 were crispy and tasted like Mcd fries but the batter is nicer. The downside is it was too salty 🥲

A few days before their opening, I managed to plan the gachapon and win a free sides dish. We redeemed the 𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 🧅 Taste was pretty normal, can't go wrong with onion rings.
