I’ve been really working on not just being a healthier person physically but also mentally and emotionally.
I feel like I live a very healthy, active lifestyle, but I often still feel stressed and unfulfilled because my mindset and outlook is still a bit of a work I progress.
Some of my goals like waking up at 5AM, going for walks outside, and stretching are pretty conventional, & others are more *Taylored* to my struggles specifically. Let’s get into it 👇🏼
*5AM Mornings*
I wake up at 5 already but I often sleep in on Sunday until 6, and I feel like even that extra hour really throws off my sleep schedule.
*letting things go*
This is a big one for me 🥲 I am constantly working on this and I feel like I get no where. Being autistic, I feel like little things are sometimes such a huge deal for me. Little problems turn into huge mental blocks for me that I have a really hard time getting past. I’m working on re-directing myself when something like this comes up.
*trying new things*
Insert nervous laughter 😅 Let’s just say your girl does not particularly seek out novelty. I really struggle to deviate from my routine so whether it be trying out a new coffee shop, or going to a new movie, I really struggle with the unexpected. After the fact, I’m always really glad I tried it and it brings a lot of enrichment to my life.
*walks outside*
I am not a big fan of the heat but with that being said I know there’s so many benefits to spending time outside in the sun, and right now I just don’t get outside that often to be honest.
*time with family*
My boyfriend and I moved closer to my family so that we could spend more time with them compared to when we lived 4 hours away. And even though we see them sometimes for events and things, I’d love to see them more often just to hang out for the day.
*stretching*
I know this is bad but idk if I’m fully ready to commit to this one 😆 I stretch a little before I work out, but not nearly enough because I’m often on a time crunch. Not really a great excuse though because even when I’m not on a time crunch….I still don’t stretch.
*prioritizing adventure*
This kind of goes along with trying new things! I was to prioritize being more adventurous and willing to give new experiences and places a try.
