IKEA Custom Pinch Pleat Curtains

I love the look of pinch pleat curtains and I was so happy to find a hack on how to create your own using IKEA curtains without breaking the bank!

The IKEA Ritva curtains come with prayers tape already attached to the top so you can easily add pleater hooks to create that pinch pleat look. I chose to use the 4 prong hooks because I wanted to get achieve the look of 3 pleats per hook compared to 1 pleat which you can get with a double prong hook. I purchased the pinch pleat hooks and eyelet curtain rings from Amazon!

I also used no sew hem tape to hem my edges with just the tape and an iron, it was so easy to do! I then trained my curtains for a few days so the pleats were exactly how I liked them and they have held up so well!
