Thrift Flip Before + After

These nesting side tables were a Facebook market place find and I knew I needed them as soon as I saw the local listing! I drove over that same night to grab them before someone else beat me to it and got them for a steal.

They were originally a cherry wood color and I used Gel Stain Black by Minwax to give them a new look. The best part about using gel stain is that you don’t need to remove the existing finish. I just used Krud Kutter Gloss Off to prepare the surface for the gel stain so it was adhere better and then went over with a clear top coat to protect the finish.
