DIY🇯🇵 gel nails at home | Clean Girl Nail Aesthetic

Hello girls! so 2 days after I posted about my gel nails lasting 5 weeks (here) , I broke my right thumb nail while trying to peel an orange 😂- but to be fair, its been already 5 weeks so I’m not expecting it to last any much longer!

🇯🇵I went to Japan recently and bought Japanese gel polishes and a nail lamp from their Daiso and Don Quijote so what a perfect time to put them to the test!

🤨Tbvh, I was super skeptical about the nail lamp and gel polishes I bought bc THEY WERE SO CHEAP?!?! Like even cheaper than the ones I used to have from Amazon and Taobao (& those din’t even cure my nails). But there were so many Japanese women crowding over the gel polish section in Daiso and I thought like okay this must be working right? Otherwise why would they all buy??!?!

I bought quite alot from Daiso & some from Don Quijote but I seriously wished I bought 2 of everything because!!!!! They turned out so well and their colours are so pretty🥺

💅🏻For this clean girl nail look, I used the LED lamp, base coat and top coat from Daiso and the gel polish from Don Quijote

💰Price wise, I think Daiso is alot cheaper. If I’m not wrong the LED lamp was 330yen and the gel polish bottles were 110yen each. (I should have kept the receipts but I hate keeping receipts so I threw them all away 🤡) I honestly can’t remember Don Quijote’s pricing but I would like to say they were maybe 500yen or 1000yen upwards. STILL WORTH IT THO!!! IF YOU’RE IN JAPAN RN OR HEADING THERE I WOULD SAY JUST BUY THEM ALL!!!

Ps, if anyone knows SG’s Daiso sells these gel polishes lmk please!!! The Daiso in Melb doesn’t stock these gel polishes 😭 and I feel like I’m gonna run out of them real quick😭😭 If they sell in SG I’m defs gonna ask my mom to buy for me first so I can bring it back to melb when I return home again in Aug!
