There is a technique for it to be pain-free. This, you'll need a bit practice but for some reason it came naturally to me. My tip is to pinch the area of the hair you wanna pull, then pull fast with a flick on wrist movement.

It's inexpensive and it clears all the way to the root! It takes about 2-3 weeks before I need to trim again.

The downside is that it can be a bit time consuming for people with thick brows because you need to pull each brow individually.
