The key to nail dressing up is to have always ensure you have a balanced silhouette. This is way easier once you know your body shape. Mine’s pear! 🍐

A pear body shape is described as having narrow shoulders and waist and wide hips. You will naturally look heavier on the the lower half of your body.

To create a balanced silhouette, you’d want to de-emphasize your wide hips and highlight your narrow waist and shoulders.

Here’s how you can do it:

👚 1. Tops

- Always go for tops that gives volume to your upper body.

- Dramatic sleeves like flare or puffy sleeves helps.

- Always tuck in to highlight your waist.

👖 2. Pants

- Opt for straight-legged pants that falls straight from the widest part of your hips.

- Choosing pants that are too wide will further create a silhouette of a wide base which may not flatter your body shape.

Extra:

If you’d like to go for wide-legged pants, always ensure the legs are not wider than your hip width. This balances your proportions better.

👗 3. Skirts

- A-line skirts are the safest for pear body shapes. It hides the widest part of your hips whilst showcasing that cinched waist.
