Hijab Style for Heart Shaped Face: Tips + Tricks

The key to knowing which shawl style best suites you is to first know your face shape.

If your forehead is the widest part of your face with narrow chin, then you may have a heart-shaped face like me!

Here’s some things i consider when styling my hijab

❤️Style 1: Square scarf hijab

For this specific type of hijab, i suka awning dia bulat because it frames my face better and softens the angular shape of my forehead. I avoid tying the scarf too tight on my neck as this will further narrow my chin. A little bit of volume creates balance to the lower part of my face.

Best material to work with: cotton voile, satin

❤️Style 2: Everyday Style

When wearing shawls, i like to frame my hijab at the border of my cheekbone. This makes my forehead appear more triangular, and therefore symmetrical with my chin.

Best material for this style: all materials.

❤️Style 3: Loose style

A heart-shaped face has narrow chin. To balance this, you’d want to create more volume on the lower part of your face. Wearing loose style is the easiest way of achieving so. This style effortlessly balances your narrow chins with the rest of your face.

Best material for this style: satin silk, chiffon, cotton
