MUST VISIT: Coach on The Move Event!

I had the time to visit Coach On The Move event at A Place Where (APW) Bangsar last weekend. Good news for you, like the name, they are on the move around 4 selected locations in West Malaysia. So if you’ve missed this one, there are 3 upcoming locations held very soon at the following places!

1. Johor Premium Outlet, JB: 9 - 11th Dec

2. Hin Bus Depot, Penang: 16-18th Dec

3. IOI City Mall, Putrajaya: 23-25th Dec

Since the event in APW Bangsar was held outdoors, i decided to wear something that’s breezy and laid back but still has a femme fatale touch to it - in short, an effortless feminine look.

I decided to wear a green, spiral patterned dress for an effortless classy look. I wanted this dress to be the highlight of my outfit - the only bold color standing out, so i kept other pieces muted. Instead of wearing my oversized shirt the usual way, i tied a front knot for that breezy sunday vibes. Its also the perfect piece to layer the dress with as its cotton material - therefore, cooling even in hot weather. This top was purposely worn in a pure white color as i wanted to create higher contrast between the dress and the shirt. My shawl and inner were both of the same pale yellow shade that blends with the warmth tone of the dress. This is to make the look more cohesive. To add that femme fatale touch, i slipped into my painful but pretty white heels (beauty is pain haha). IMPORTANT NOTE: WEAR SOMETHING COMFY BECAUSE IT GETS HOT. literally.

Now to the activities, there were a lot to be explored. When you first enter the event be sure to scan the QR code and register your details for a chance to get freebies from Coach. They include holiday stickers, Rexy stickers, enamel pins and vial perfumes. I went on their Holiday double decker bus next. On the first floor, they displayed an array of their holiday collection. The new heart-shaped sling bag was super cute! I also had the chance to try-on and explore the bags as well. On the second floor, they had a photo booth setup where I got my polaroid pictures taken.

There were also 3 activity booths open in the area. 1st was the “Rexy Figurine Fluid Art Customization” booth. All you need to do to participate in this activity is to post a picture on your socials with the hashtag #coachmyonthemove. At this booth, what you will be doing is painting your Rexy. Unfortunately, the figurine were fully redeemed when I came so i missed the chance to customise Rexy :( However, i was told that they will have more open slots for future stops. So tips: be sure to visit this Rexy booth first when u attend!!

If you’re familiar with local brands, you might have heard of Motherchuckers, a lifestyle/clothing extension of Chuck’s, a skincare line founded by Jane Lau. They also had booth opened during the event. It was a great opportunity to physically try-on their skincare products and decide if they’re really worth it. I got myself their Lucky Lip Jelly Balm in Beam (RM48) - a clear unscented gloss with pure jelly extract and shea butter to moisturize the lips.

Now to my fav booth of all - the Gigi Coffee x Coach booth. Gigi offers 2 beverages, specially made for the occasion, to all event attenders:

1. Cotton Candy Mocha

2. Golden Cocoa Latte

I loveee chocolate so i went for the latter. It was divine! The chocolate was really rich and not too sweet. The drink is topped with waffle biscuits with shredded edible gold. A very festive drink indeed. For this event, they also had special collaboration cup holders and paper bags in 3 different colours - green, yellow and red.

Overall i had fun at the event and it was definitely a great way to spend the weekend. I would however, recommend going earlier in the day - lesser crowds.
