OOTD Tips: The Sandwich Rule

Have you ever been stuck deciding what to wear or having trouble mix and matching your outfits? Sucks doesn’t it. All the time spent standing, staring into your wardrobe and still have no idea what to wear.

Well here’s an easy tip i learned from tiktok! Its called the sandwich rule. Its the easiest rule to use when you’re not sure of how to pair your OOTDs.

Like the name itself, this rule is all about sandwiching your outfit. wear a matching shade on your shoes and top half, then sandwich a different colour in between for an outfit that's pulled together but easy to throw on.

For example in my look today, i paired my green pants with green hijab and sandwiched an off-white cropped sweater in between. I matched the sweater with my white sandals for a breezy look. To add more depth, i tossed on my emerald green mini bag.
