Petite Lookbook: My Top 4 Neutrals

If you’re looking for styles inspirations for you to ctrl c + ctrl v, (copy paste hehe) i’m here for you. Here are my top 4 neutral looks that you’ll catch me wearing over, and over, and over again.

Look 1: Sweater Weather

I’m absolutely mad over the checks on this sweater. Something about it just screams “i don’t wanna go around and tell people about it, but they’ll notice.” Its the perfect piece to wear during chilly rainy seasons. Its like getting a warm hug all day long. Paired it with a camel pouch bag, caramel shawl and off white pants & heels - making it the ultimate neutral look.

Look 2: Lady Brunch

The ruched details of this skirt is everything. I absolutely love how it can be dressed up for office wear or paired with an oversized white shirt for a super breezy yet ladylike look (like what i did here hehe). The side-ruched detail creates more volume to the hips giving it a va-va-voom effect hahaha please tell me ykwim hahaha. For a more modest look, i tucked in only in the front as to cover my behind.

Look 3: Legs for Days

This look truly lives up to its name because of the pants. Istg it was the best purchase i made from Zara years ago. Yes, YEARS AGO. The key to having legs for days (i.e. long legs) is to don high-waisted floor length pants that cinches the waist just right. This will create not only a visual of shorter torso but also smaller waist (an hourglass figure). Pair it with a pair of heels and voila, you’re ready to strut.

Look 4: Beach, Please

This is one of my favourite lazy looks. I paired it with a printed shawl to give the look a little life (all neutrals can be rather flat). The pants not only works for lazy days, its also a great pair for an office look. Same pair of pants, different functions. Perks of investing in a capsule wardrobe. No i will never stop talking about it haha.

Petite Fashion tip:

1. Tuck in for a visual of shorter torso, hence longer legs. You may leave the behind untucked for a more modest look.

2. Neutrals are great pieces to invest in as it can be styled over and over. Its a basic piece that works with trends, or with staples.
