The best colourblock goes to… 💜💚🩵

Didn’t make it down to the BTV store in time to see the crowd during launch day on Friday, but thankfully everything was still in stock when I went a couple of hours later. 😮‍💨

💖 I already own a couple of micro dumplings and love using them for errand days because they hold so much but yet they’re so little 🥹

😣 But my struggle with this series is that the current dumplings i own (i have lilac, light yellow and maroon) are the same colours as the ones in this series. So do I get duplicates or ?????

💛 I compared the colours in-store and found that the yellow/blush combination is one shade darker than the usual light yellow dumpling.

💜 But the lilac vs lilac colourblock was tricky since the display piece in store was very worn out. Spoiler alert, I bought the lilac/spearmint colourblock and when I compared it to my lilac dumpling at home, the lilac colourblock actually looks more cool toned!

🤍 The BTV staff recommended that I get this cream/blue colourblock for extra freshness but I don’t have any caps or clothing that matches this shade of blue and green exactly, so I think it’ll be quite hard to style it.

💔 Maroon colourblock was an easy one to eliminate (sorry!) because I still prefer the look of a full maroon dumpling!

🩶 Not really a dark colour kind of girlie, but surprisingly this navy/grey colourblock looks very chic! I have a few navy pullovers that I think would match this bag, and while I’m still on the hunt for a grey New Balance sneakers, i think the grey would match this outer pocket perfectly!

😐 Would have left the store with two colourblock dumplings, but during payment, I realised that the pink shopper tote that was supposed to be launched together with these dumplings were not in store yet!

🛍️ So in the end, I got the more popular lilac/spearmint colourblock first with the yellow shopper tote, and when the shopper tote arrives (I’m told its sometime this week), I’ll get it together with my navy/grey colourblock!
