Listen, I can be the first one to say that I love all of the aesthetic, videos and photos of beauty favorites, and product recommendations, and hair tutorials on here. I love it.

BUT!!!

I can also say that I felt discouraged at one point when I first download this app , thinking that I didn’t have money to continue buying nice makeup products to be able to post on here and stay current, so that’s when I had to give myself a reality check.

Social media is always based on what we WANT people to perceive us as, but some of us, like to be on social media as we are. I choose to be on social media as I am, even though I like to post my cute selfies from time to time and post my make up recommendations on here, because I genuinely do enjoy these things. But never lets social media try to tell you to become someone you’re not. Because none of this is real….I mean it is but you know what I mean 🙃
