it is scientifically proven that having an effective morning routine drastically improves mood and productivity levels for the rest of the day. i’m currently working on catering my mornings to my new school schedule and wanted to share what i’m incorporating!

🌅 consistent wake up time

~ waking up at the same time everyday is so helpful for your body to kearn your routine! after a couple months of being consistent with your wake up time, you’ll find that you don’t even need alarm. i drink water in the mornings as well to wake me up.

🫧 hygiene

~ personal hygiene and taking care of yourself helps you stay confident during the day. i know i feel confident whenever i wear an outfit i love :)

📓 journaling

~ journaling helps you stay grounded and figure out what you need to get done for the day. take time to figure out how you are feeling so that you can process them before you start your day!

👟 go on a walk

~ i don’t do this every day, but getting some fresh air helps SO MUCH. especially if you are super anxious in the mornings, getting out kind of gives your “dark cloud” some light ☺️

🍞 eat breakfast

~ there are lots of debates on whether you need breakfast, but i feel so much better and energized when i have food in me than when i don’t. remember, food is fuel!
