My Review of the ‘Mini’ Marc Jacobs Tote Bag

I purchased the Marc Jacobs Tote in the mini size (now named the small) a few weeks ago and wanted to share my thoughts. I initially wanted the bag in the canvas material but decided against it because I watched some reviews that mentioned that the darker colors attracted lint, hair, etc. and I also wasn’t sure how the bag would hold its shape over time. I ultimately brought the leather tote in the mini size and was able to snag it at 20% off.

For a mini, the tote to me is large and seems like it can hold a lot. I’m not someone who carries a lot in their bag but this seems like it could easily fit my tablet, kindle, a notebook or two and a few other essentials. I usually carry my small Telfar bags around and was looking for something that was a little bigger.

The bag has removable straps and a large interior compartment. The only con I have so far is that it only has one pocket on the inside of the bag. I do wish it had more organization pockets on the inside. The leather tote does come with a thinner strap than the canvas and I do think I’ll purchase a thicker strap down the line and I also think I’ll purchase a bag organizer. Overall, as of now I would definitely repurchase the bag in other colors and sizes.
