Affordable and Fresh $2 Sushi in Kyoto 🇯🇵

Now when you go to Japan, you MUST indulge in fresh sushi wherever you are, and I got just the place if you are visiting Kyoto. It’s called Sushi Tetsu located in Pontocho, near the Gion area. While they have a wide spread of many other dishes, the $2 sushi nigiri will definitely catch your eye 🍣

It’s two pieces per plate, and you have a wide selection of nigiri sushi including WHALE MEAT, which is pretty insane for the price. You can also opt for their bigger sushi platters if you’re interested.

It’s a pretty small establishment, and since the sun sets pretty early now in Japan (around 430pm), it’s best to have an early dinner and start queueing around 5pm before the crowd comes!
