Just some thoughts or #SpillTheTea on the #Marshall Major IV #headphones I picked up!
FYI, I’m quite specific about how I listen to #music , so intuitively these headphones aren’t considered the best sound in the market. I got it pretty much for the #aesthetic , vintage-looking vibe that could work for photos too! That’s not to say that they are bad headphones, just probably not the best one for hardcore audiophiles!
Pros:
- Aesthetic (did I mention that already?)
- Wired cable provided in case your battery runs out
- Simple, clean design with that single gold knob for music shuffling and connectivity
- Adjustable height
- Comfortable leather ear pads
- Pretty decently priced at around $260
- Long battery life
Cons:
- Not noise-cancelling
- Marshall has an app to change the sound EQ settings, but it doesn’t work for the Major IV
- No pouch protector for the headphones
- Connectivity can be a lil wonky, but that’s only if you have multiple connections at one time
Alternatives:
- They definitely have better sound than my #Apple Airpods Pro, but the noise cancellation feels like a game changer in today’s world
- The 1More Triple Driver earphones are inexpensive ($100) earphones that have super clear sound and balanced EQ settings. I interchange between these 3 earpieces now!
- (I wish) the Sony WH-1000XM5 are legendary headphones that I would pick up if I could splash the cash. I think the best selling points are the clean design elements and the noise-cancellation, so that’s ideally my next upgrade!
Do comment what headphones/earphones you would recommend!
