horror movies to watch beforethis year

these are some of my favorite horror movies to watch every year!

• nightmare on elm street (2010)

it’s a halloween classic, anyone who likes scary movies has some special place for this one

•scream (1996)

again, it’s a classic. it’s just one that you have to watch

•the conjuring (2013)

one of the best horror movies that i absolutely love and genuinely enjoy. and the spin off movies from the other conjuring movies, nun, and anabelle are great too

•insidious (2010)

another favorite. worth the watch, even with all the others too

•signs (2002)

always been a favorite. it’s not necessarily scary, but it’s a thriller in a way

•midnight mass (2021)

mike flanagan makes some of the best horror series out there, this one being my favorite out of them all

•the exorcist: believer (2023)

this was so good. this one actually kinda scared me in a couple scenes and that’s almost unheard of with horror movies

•it (2017)

i’m terrified of clowns, but this is a great movie. i prefer the newer one of the original

•children of the corn (1984)

major classic. stephen king just does something right
