Summit One Vanderbilt in New York City leaves you speechless. It is not just like any other observation platform. There are different types of rooms where you can experience different things:

Transcendence 1:

This room is so much fun and I could have spent hours there. It is all about mirrors and reflections. Make sure you wear sunglasses during the day because you will be blinded by all these reflections. They will provide you with one in case you forgot your own. You will also have to wear covers for your shoes.

Transcendence 2:

This is on a higher level where you look down through mirrors to Transcendence 1. It feels like you arrived in an endless universe.

Affinity:

Here you will find a bunch of silver (or sometimes color themed) air balloons or bubbles in a room. It is probably the room where your inner child will come out.

Unity:

They take a picture of your face before you enter the whole experience. In this area you will find your face in clouds. Sometimes it looks a bit funny though 😅

Levitation:

I hope you aren’t scared of heights because you will be 1100 feet above Madison Ave in a see through little box. You will get a different and unique few of this part of the city.

Reflect:

This room has some really cool art installations. Get inspired and float through the room.

Ascent:

If all that wasn’t thrilling and high enough for you then you should book this experience. It is the world’s largest external glass-bottomed elevator.

You can visit all rooms with the $42 ticket. The only thing that is extra is the elevator outside. You can stay as long as you want.
