Here are 5 things you need to know when visiting the island:

- Formentera doesn’t have an airport. You can only reach it by taking a ferry from the other Balearic island Ibiza (ca. 35minutes / ca. 30€ - you can take your car over or simple rent a scooter or car once you arrive).

- It’s perfect for a day trip since the island is not very big.

- Far de la Mola is the most eastern point and also most southern point of the island and the Balearic islands. You will see beautiful cliffs and a lighthouse there.

- Platja de Ses Illetes and Cala Saona are the most popular and beautiful beaches on Formentera. It can get very busy during summer.

- Es Pujols is the center of the island with cute shops and restaurants.
