Places to Visit in NJ: Grounds for Sculpture

The perfect blend of art and nature can be found at Grounds For Sculpture 🤍

I always describe this unique spot as an open air art museum. Not only do you get to explore the beautifully landscaped grounds (which stretch across 42 acres!), but you also get to stumble upon over 300 life-size sculptures.

I personally love the sculptures that depict famous paintings come to life! One of my favorites is a recreation of the French impressionist, Édouard Manet's "Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe/The Luncheon on the Grass."

You could easily spend a whole day wandering at Grounds for Sculpture and still not see it all. That's what keeps me coming back time and time again!
