4 large egg whites

1 cup or 200 g sugar

Whip egg whites with cream of tartar and salt. Add sugar 1 tablespoon at a time until glossy. Fold in vanilla once all the sugar is incorporated. Pipe mixture onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper and bake at 225 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour. After an hour, turn off the oven and allow meringues to stay inside until the oven is completely cool (about 1-2 hours). Do not open the oven at all during the whole process. Once cool store in an airtight container and enjoy! ✨
