Hair inspo: what I asked for vs what I got

Welcome back! Am sharing my hair experience today with 2 Korean salons. As you can see I used for inspo when going to these salons.

First salon I went to was Myeongdong salon at Sembawang outlet and boyyyy that was a lil disappointing ngl bc the layers doesn’t rly look 1 bit like the pics at all :<< but it costed $25 only for the hair cut (no wash)

A week later, I couldn’t get over that failed haircut and wanted to try another K salon - style Na at Marine Parade. I walked in and was immediately brought to sit down to cut. I love it when there’s no queue even without appt on a weekend. My hair was cut by a male stylist there and wow his cutting technique is so exquisite. I told him to just fix the layers as per the reference pic and he ✨delivered✨ ermaherdddd it’s also my first time seeing a stylist cutting my layers so elaborately from top down with precision for my whole head. (Usually most stylist will just pick a chunk of hair at the end and layer it) iykyk. Idk the hair stylist either always not cut my layers enough or too much such that I look like a cabbage head 🥲🥲🥲 so this is rly the best of both worlds!! The hair cut came with a nice wash + dry + simple style. Anyways, this salon is slightly towards the pricier side - for my length $55 including wash. But they have 20% off for first time customers and subsequent $10 off for second visit. Bday month also got some perks (if I’m not wrong)

Moral of the story is maybe you pay for what you get??🤔 would deffo come back for the perks <3
