Is it Worth Staying at This El Nido Hotel? 🌺

This was one of our most anticipated stays of our trip to the Philippines and of the year because of the beautiful views of El Nido. We had originally planned 3 nights here but later on decided to stay just one night to save a bit - keep reading to see why this was one of the BEST decisions we made this trip!

Maremegmeg Beach Club ($400/night for 2 people)

Sitio Marimegmeg, El Nido, Palawan, Philippines

What we liked

🌺 Rooms are so spacious with balconies

🌺 Located in Marimegmeg Beach which is a popular beach with a ton of establishments along the shore. The sand here is quite nice too just beware of jellyfish (we spotted 2 while swimming)

🌺 Great sunset spot because of the beach view and slightly west-facing cove

🌺 Impeccable service and staff (expected!)

🌺 Elevated pool area is reserved for hotel guests which is great because the beach is quite popular with other tourists and can be super busy

🌺 The Maremegmeg Beach Bar served really delicious food - especially local dishes which are worth a try if you're keen. They also had happy hour where we had delicious mango daiquiris ($3 each!)

🌺 Bug sprays & sanitizers were nice to have!

What could have been better

😶‍🌫️ Quality of the rooms could be better - didn't find them as tasteful or well-made

😶‍🌫️ Very dusty beneath the tables which is easily noticeable

Overall, I thought the view & access to the pool was really amazing! But was quite disappointed with the room so I'm glad we didn't splurge $1200 for 3 nights here. It was nice but 1 night was enough.
