Mini Travel Guide | Coron, Philippines Pt 1 🐠

If you're planning a trip to the Philippines, Palawan is likely (and should be!) on your list of places to go. When choosing which area there are three major spots: Coron, El Nido, Puerto Princesa.

If you have time for all three (say 2-3 nights per place) that's awesome but if you had to take one out I'd say - Puerto Princesa, or spend 1 night if you want to see the Underground River. It was just ok in my opinion! If you had to pick just one, I would say Coron.

Though I haven't personally been to El Nido (I have that planned in December 🕶) Coron was beautiful and there are plenty of interesting things for you to see!

CORON, PALAWAN, PHILIPPINES

🔹 KOH-RUN

🔹 Flights are about 1hr from Manila, $67~117 for nonstop

🔹 Airport in Coron is Busuanga Airport /Francisco B. Reyes Airport served by Philippine Airlines & Cebgo (PAL will always be more expensive!)

🔹 Plan to spend at least 3 nights here to have some time to explore the islands and relax by the water

🔹Kayangan Lake

You'll find a ton of these activities online on some popular tour booking sites. Prices range from $30~$130 depending on the number of sites and I would also suggest holding off booking anything until you get there - your hotel will likely know some tour operators with better deals.
