JOSHUA TREE NP | Things To Do 🌵

Joshua Tree National Park is one of my favorite places to go in California. I love all the jumbo rocks, cacti, and trails you can do PLUS there are so many beautiful accommodations to choose from around the park. Depending on the kind of traveling you like to do, you can spend anytime between half a day to several days in the park.

JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK

Located in eastern California, 1 hour from Palm Springs, and 2 hours and 30 mins from Los Angeles.

Some of my favorite things to do here are:

✨ EXPLORE THE TRAILS

One beautiful and easy trail is Hidden Valley Nature Trail (1 mile loop, easy, located at 74485 National Park Dr, Twentynine Palms, CA 92277). It takes about 25 minutes to complete.

✨ TAKE A TON OF PHOTOS

Don't forget your camera and take photos of all the beautiful desert plants and rock formations.

✨ CLIMB SOME ROCKS & SPOT THE CUTE ONES

Always take caution, but enjoy the rock formations! I love the trail to Arch Rock because it starts off flat, and later on you find yourself in a sea of smooth boulders seemingly jutting out of the earth. Arch Rock Nature Trail is a 1.4 mile, easy trail that starts at Pinto Basin Rd, Twentynine Palms, CA. You can connect to the Heart Rock Trail from here as well - just follow the trail markers. Expect to spend 30 mins to 1 hour here - it's nice to sit around at the rocks!
