3 ways to style wide leg pants

I love wearing wide leg pants. It is my go-to jeans, and does anyone still wear skinny jeans? I don’t wear skinny jeans as often as I used to. I prefer my clothes to be tight, but also slightly loose to be comfortable to move around.

Here are 3 ways that you can style any wide leg pants.

1) Cardigan: Cardigans are essential to any closet as they are great to wear for a day or night look. It is versatile for all seasons. It is a less formal to wear, but still enhances your style. This cardigan is from Love Bonito ($40).

2) Jackets/Coats: This is nothing new, but any type of coat or jacket will accentuate your look. Whether you use a belt, adding on a pop of color, or enhancing your silhouette allows your wide leg pants to stand out. In this case, the Burberry trench jacket (Vintage from mom, price is N/A) always pairs well with a wide leg pants. If you can get a high waisted pants, it elongates your legs as well.

3) Tops/Blouses: Any tops and blouses that you see fit for your wide leg pants is your personal style. Most of my wide legs pants are high waisted to help elongate my legs and so this top from Revolve ($98) is cropped and adds a nice pop of color. You would obviously need a top for your pants, but the point here is to find a top that you feel good, comfortable, and elevated to look. There are so many styles of tops from square tops to turtleneck tops, find your style.
