October Reading Stats!

I read so many books in October and I was convinced my brain was going to combust lol. So many of these books were incredibly intense or filled with a ton of information or history.

My favorite book of the month was probably Homegoing. It’s difficult to say which is a favorite because so many of these have a lot of history but as far as the book that was, in my opinion, one of the most well written and engaging, I would say it wins with so many of these not too far behind.

My least favorite is definitely She and Her Cat. I love books that feature animals as narrators especially cats (my favorite is The Traveling Cat Chronicles!!) but this one was incredibly weird and not in a good way. The cats were either in love with their owner or plotting on ways to get pregnant by each other - both of these are so weird and definitely not something I want to read about. I wonder if I would have enjoyed this more via audio? It has high ratings though so I would still check out if I were you - maybe it will be your cup of tea!
