How my Friday started vs how it ended

So Friday night I decided to go to open skate by myself. To try something new, being independent and prove to myself I can do things alone. Well it all started perfect. Skated by myself for a while, and then out of no where a kid fell directly in front me, causing myself to fall…

I skated for another 20 mins before I realized how injured I was… then drove myself home.

Next morning I went to urgent care, turns out I broke my wrist. I drove myself to hospital and drove myself home.

Moral of the story is… I wanted to prove to myself I was independent… and life threw me a curveball. Did it turn out the way I wanted? Absolutely not, but I proved to myself, I can do anything. I am stronger than I realize at times. ✨🤍
