If you know me, you know that I’m a HUGE sichuan food lover 😋🔥🤤 I love all things mala and also a good 酸菜鱼 🤩 I’ve eaten sichuan food for 5-6 days straight a week before hahaha the flavours just hit differently and today, I wanted to share about this sichuanrestaurant I went over the weekend!! 😋

- outdoor would have such a lovely river view and would be the perfect place to enjoy rlly good sichuan food w a nice view 😊

- I sat indoor and it was still rlly nice!! the aircon was great & the interior was fairly nicely decorated 😝

1. Signature Dish - Grilled Fish & Crayfish ($58.80) 🔥🐟🦞

I LOVED THIS DISH SO MUCH!!! (: you get to pick 2 out of the 4 options available (grilled fish/chicken/crayfish/lamb spine).

My fiancé and I ordered the Grilled fish w the pickled cabbage soup & the crayfish in the spicy mala flavour. They have loads of other sauce flavours so if you’re not one to eat spicy, you can opt for those (eg tomato).

The fish was sea bass if I’m not wrong! It was good! 🤭😋 meat was fresh and the soup got better and better as you drink 😝 even after finishing most of the food, I couldn’t stop drinking it. The crayfish was the BEST I had ever eaten hahaha they weren’t frozen and the flavour was perfect. It isn’t overly spicy and the crayfish were meaty & some even had roe! 😙

2. EGGPLANT W BEER (~$15.50)

Rating: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sorry I can’t remember the exact price but this is an estimate based on my memory and another eggplant dish they also had on their menu.

This dish was a pleasant surprise hehehe we never had anything similar except the typical spicy one. The eggplant was super sweet and it had some other vegetables in it. This dish complimented the entire meal well given it had a different taste compared to spicy heheh

3. SIGNATURE FRUIT TEA ($8.80)🍹🍉🥭

Rating: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The tea portion was HUGE 😙😝 the tea was aromatic, fruity, refreshing with hints of citrus and tropical passionfruit taste 😋 I got all these descriptors from my fiancé who is a flavourist trainee HAHAH 🤭 it wasn’t too sweet and it paired perfectly for all the spicy & oily food 😋

That wraps up my review, I really enjoyed eating here & felt that the food became better and better into the meal 🤭😙 the staff were rather attentive and friendly too (:
