Date Idea: Wine Tasting🍷

Ran out of ideas on what to do to celebrate bf’s birthday and since he enjoys wine, so why not book a wine tasting session for us on his special day!

I followed SeekSophie on Instagram for their unique contents and collaboration with local businesses and overseas’s as well. (Not sponsored haha!) I saw their post promoting the wine tasting session and went to their website to see how’s the reviews like.

Then, I discovered it’s not what I expected it to be like - wine tasting with a sommelier who pairs and suggests wines that will best complement each cheese. It is basically just a place for you to appreciate the wines and pair them with cheeses (all free flow) while hanging out with your friends, it’s like a buffet. (If y’all are looking for a more serious, formal wine appreciation session then maybe it’s not for you :/ )

However, me and my boyfriend enjoyed it a lot! Love love the informality, we managed to get a table for ourselves only and had so much fun that night. The food and wine were generous. We were provided with charcuterie , crackers and other accoutrements to complement the cheeses (10~12types?). They’re doing the event every Friday and have different wines every month. Highly recommend! (would wanna show the list of wines we tasted but not sure if it’s allowed lol. can pm for more info!)
