Pressure!!

Should I have to post pictures of my boyfriend constantly in order to prove I’m in a relationship?

For context, there is a guy in my life that has been nudging me here and there, wanting… something? I am not sure anymore. Anyhow- he asked me today if everything was okay between my boyfriend and I simply because I never post him on social media. My partner barely uses social media, never mind posts pictures of himself; and I didn’t start posting myself until I was just about an adult. It got me thinking about the implications…

Am I being “shady”?

Is it drawing attention to myself to not show his face?

Do people think I am trying to cheat?

Should I not show my face if I don’t show his too?

And then it hit me, I was thinking about everyone else when it’s about him and I.

When I tell you he looked so confused as to what I was on about… in the end, he said he didn’t care if I posted him and that he trusted me.

So I wonder: does anyone else feel pressured to prove that their relationships (of any kind) are real in ridiculous ways too?
