I know that whenever girls go to Japan, we look for vintage luxury shops. It’s an amazing place YES, but there’s usually SO many brands that you can get abit overwhelmed. So here’s the brands that I think you SHOULD look out for when you’re in Japan, and also which shops you can find them ☺️

I’ve split them into luxury and semi-luxury, so it’ll be okay for all budgets!!

⚫️ Hermes

These bags are most usually shown in most places, and to be honest the good deals have to be dug for these 2 brands. The average price for a birkin ranges around $10,000 - $30,000 SGD depending on the leather (this is definitely more for those with a big budget…) Of course, cheaper Hermes bags might be worth a look! I bought a Herbag for about $1.9K SGD and found a few in different stores for around $2.5K SGD~ so it’s still marginally lesser than the retail price!! (2nd streets carry a lot of Hermes!!)

⚫️ Chanel

Chanel is really quite expensive here, the one with the best condition would be in Amore Vintage (Shinjuku/Harajuku branch). They have a Chanel only outlet and it features quite a few good buys. The price range here is around $5K SGD to about $15K SGD 😮‍💨

🔵 Dior

Dior is quite affordable here, a lot of vintage stores carry different series! If you are looking for a saddle, definitely not worth it as all the prices are around $4K - $5K, which tbh is not that far away from retail… What I do suggest though, is to look for lady diors!! The price for a medium-sized black lady Dior is actually about $3.8K (the price I saw at Amore Vintage) and to me it’s a damn good deal la! If I haven’t bought anything then, I would’ve went for this!

🔵 Celine

I saw a few pretty nice celines here and there and it was chef’s kiss. The prices are also pretty reasonable so highly recommend!!!! 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

🟣 Long Champ

For long champ, don’t go for vintage, just go to the store and buy it!!! I spent about $150 SGD for a laptop bag, which is cheaper than SG! Not that much cheaper, but if you are already there, might as well cop one. Another place you can try is Donki, some donkis do carry long champ and they have a few colours and sizes. Prices are at about $100 SGD for the large sized bag! (They do not carry the newer colours but if you’re not into the new colours, this is a worthy deal!!!)

🟣 Coach

Coach is really dirt cheap in Japan, both vintage and semi-new. You can go to vintage stores and score a good find, but again, Donki is the way to go. If you’re in Osaka, do visit the Donki at dontonburi, because they carry ALOT of coach (new!!!) at very cheap prices!!! Genuinely, wallets are a good find there.

❌ LV

This is just a special feature, but LV is really not worth it in Japan. Retail price is more expensive than in SG (yes!! even with tax free 😮‍💨). Vintage prices are also only about $500 SGD cheaper for newer models, which tbh, you can just spend it on a new one LOL. Vintage pieces are alright…?? but nothing super worthy imo, most of them are around the $800-$1000 SGD mark for LV in good condition, which is really not that worth it considering you can get better brands for only a small top up.
