While of course there's no replacement for a balanced, protein-packed meal, these nutritious protein bites are a great way to stay full throughout the day while satisfying any sweet tooth you may have! Plus each of these recipes make 12 bites, so you can grab-and-go and enjoy them throughout the week.
What you need for the Almond Joy Bites:
-1 cup oats
-1.5 tbsp honey
-⅔ cup almond butter
-½ cup chocolate chips
-¼ cup sliced almonds
-½ cup toasted coconut
-¼ cup vanilla protein powder
What you need for the Carrot Cake Bites:
-½ cup pitted dates
-⅓ cup apricots
-½ cup walnuts
-1.5 cup shredded carrot
½ cup oats
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
-1 tsp cinnamon
-½ tsp nutmeg
-¼ cup vanilla protein powder
What you need for the Oatmeal Raisin Bites:
-1¼ cup oats
-⅔ cup peanut butter
-⅓ cup honey
-¼ cup toasted coconut
-⅓ cup raisins
-¼ cup vanilla protein powder
What you need for the Fudge Brownie Bites:
-½ cup pitted dates
-¼ cup chocolate chips
-½ cup sliced almonds
-½ cup walnuts
-1 tbsp coconut oil
-¼ tsp salt
-¼ cup chocolate protein powder
What to do:
1- Place all ingredients (except for the raisins) into a high speed blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
2- If making Oatmeal Raisin, add in raisins once blended.
3- Scoop out 1 tbsp of the mix and mold it into a ball using clean hands (mix may be crumbly, so you will need to pack it down before molding).
4- Place each rolled bite onto a tray lined with parchment paper (Optional to roll each bite in a topping of choice if you desire).
5- Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes and then dig in or place in a sealed container for later.
