Cowboy candy!

Otherwise known as candied jalapeños

For this I used 30 jalapeños; they were about 4 inches long each. I just wanted a small batch this time. You can double it if you want more, this batch made 4 8oz jars.

Dont forget to sterilize your jars (we do ours in a 225* oven for 15 minutes, then let them cool down enough you can handle them. If they and the jalapeños cool all the way down, when you water bath them put them in the water BEFORE it starts to boil, so the glass doesn’t shatter. Bath them for 15 minutes.

If you like spicy 🌶️ sweetness you can eat them after 24 hrs, we like ours better after about 2 weeks.
