Pregnant BFFs

A cute story I wanted to share was that time when my Best Friend and I were pregnant at the same time. We have been friends for many years, used to go out and party back in the day then finally settled down and got married to our wonderful husbands!

My BFF got married a few years before me and moved to another country which was kind of a bummer. We did our best to keep in touch(we were both busy with school and work). One day I sent her a text and told her I had a surprise for her, she said girl same when can I call you? I was at work until 9pm finishing up my last patient when I was finally free so I called her.

She answered and seemed a little nervous and was trying to see what I’ve been up to so I texted her my ultrasound picture and 30 seconds later she sent me one as well!! We were in shock! It was so exciting to know that I had someone not to mention my best friend pregnant the same time as me! We both started crying over the phone over the excitement!! It was the best news ever! We would share bump pictures and call eachother whenever we were feeling enhhh during our pregnancies.

The best is that our kiddos are only a week apart! We have messaged and sent tons of pictures of the kids and have been out to family functions and dinners when we are able to. Distance is tough and I do miss being able to share them growing up together but I’m thankful to still be able to have her in my life. I will always cherish those moments and our friendship☺️
