My labor experience

Birth is something that is both beautiful and magical. To create such a perfect little creation of yourself is what brings joy to our lives.

My story starts off waking up one spring morning during Covid days. I had terrible cramps but they would come and go. My husband had an eye doctor appointment that morning so he was not home. I went down to our laundry room and bent over to switch the loads and oooopppsss💦 lol 😂 my water broke. I frantically called my husband to come home bc we gotta go to the hospital.

We arrive at the hospital and they checked me in right away to labor and delivery. The nurse had to perform a Covid test on me and hooked me up to a stress test. During this time I’m considered high risk, I had Gestational diabetes. My daughter was in a lot of stress in the womb. I had the most wonderful healthcare team who noticed my blood pressure was dropping severely low and jumped into action….
