Most people don’t know this about Taipei’s food…

While trying out local Taiwanese food was the focus of my recent stop in Taipei, I was told by locals that their Japanese cuisine is one of the best outside of Japan.

I tried it, and indeed, it is true! I am amazed by the quality of the ingredients—so fresh and so yummy! 🤤🤤🤤

Price-wise, trust me, you will be surprised! This omakase set only cost me around 80 SGD! Having something like this in Singapore would easily cost us around 120 SGD, so it’s a great value.

So instead of going to night market, I tried this handroll omakase in Taipei recommended by the locals.

Their dishes overall are great! The handrolls have so much texture and layers of flavors that I enjoyed the meal a lot.

In addition to their set, I would highly recommend ordering their Ossu Roll. It has all the premium ingredients like foie gras, uni, and wagyu, topped with gold flakes. ✨✨✨
