I took my daughter to PRIDE❤️

We had SO MUCH #FUN at our local pride parade! It was the first pride event we’ve been to in our new state!!

We come from a small town, so this was so much different!! The parade was HUGE!!

It made me so happy seeing all of these people gathered together to be supportive!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

taking my daughter to this parade was always my plan! Not only do i believe that i personally relate to the values the community holds, i also can understand that she’s not old enough to grasp the concept of pride she CAN watch all the pretty colors!!

My daughter had a blast, watched all the floats, and slept on our walk back home! We felt like this was such a fun way to connect with our community while also including our daughter in family friendly activities!

This parade was family friendly (they have a 21+ block party that night but we didn’t have a babysitter 😂) and we didn’t find any part of it inappropriate! Everyone was covered, i didn’t see anyone’s private areas 🫣

And while i know there’s a lot of talk about what is and is not appropriate i really encourage you to try for yourself!
