PWS part 1: Cappadocia

PWS in cappadocia was my non-negotiable!!! Cappadocia was our first big trip as a couple back in 2018 and I was excited to revisit this beautiful land!

💰Cost breakdown:

- PG (turkish based) + entry to all the sites, transport, translator, vintage car rental: 875 euros

- HMUA: 200 euros

- 1 min reel add on: 200 euros

- Gown (Bought 1 dress during sale at Fleur Design, and the other was off taobao) + alterations by Sia LC: $675

- Hair accessories: $30

Total: $2605

✨ Tips ✨

- You can easily find many PG on IG, prices start as low as 250 euros for 2 hours

- Ask your PG on arrangement in case of bad weather.. SUPER important as hot air balloon can only take off in good weather

- Have gowns / dresses that are zipped and NOT CORSET lace. Changing room was not the best and save time lah

- Good HMUA is VERY hard to find… and mine was TERRIBLE, 10/10 NOT WORTH the money. If you can, do your own!! Have lash extensions, eyebrow embroidery, dye/perm hair in advance. Buy your own hair accessories to zeng your hair!! Bring ring light if you are staying in cave hotel as lightings can be bad!!

Overall:

- i will NOT recommend my PG as I paid a premium for him… thought he would be good since he had 100k followers BUT NOPE. Took extremely long for video edit and didn’t use the song I requested. No artistic direction, just point and shoot lol. No diff to a 250 euros PG really

- i would STILL recommend finding a turkish based PG because it is WAAYYY CHEAPER (we are talking 3-4k in savings!!!). With that savings, I went on to take 2 more PWS!!!!

Despite the shitty PG, THIS EXPERIENCE IS 10000/10 WORTH IT!!!!!! The beauty of cappadocia is unmatched when the balloons are up in the air 😭 (Lol i will just salvage some photos with PS myself 😂)
